What is an Endowed Scholarship? 

An endowed scholarship is a permanent fund established to provide ongoing financial assistance to students. The principal amount is invested, and only the generated interest is used, allowing the scholarship to support students indefinitely. This creates a perpetual source of educational funding, benefiting students for generations.

Starting an Endowed Scholarship

Endowments can be initiated with a minimum of $50,000. The principal amount remains intact and grows over time, with a small percentage distributed annually to support a student scholarship.

• $50,000 Endowment: Covers a quarter of the funding gap for one student per year, in perpetuity.
• $100,000 Endowment: Covers half of the funding gap for one student per year, in perpetuity.
• $200,000 Endowment: Allows for an annual distribution of approximately $10,000, fully covering the funding gap for one student per year, in perpetuity.
