Verbum Dei Jesuit High School provides an affordable college prep education for deserving young men. We understand that the cost of a Verbum Dei education is an important consideration for your family. In keeping with our mission to provide a high-quality Jesuit Catholic education that is accessible to all, we operate on an income-based tuition model, ensuring that no student is denied admission due to financial need.

You will complete two applications, and both are required: the Catholic Education Foundation (CEF) evaluates your family for outside tuition assistance, and FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment calculates what your family can reasonably contribute toward tuition. Together, they take most families about 15-20 minutes. Every applicant completes both, regardless of financial situation — and no student is denied admission to Verbum Dei because of financial need.

All Verbum Dei Jesuit students automatically receive a sizable amount of financial assistance from two sources, the Corporate Work Study (CWS) and Fundraising.

Cost of Education - (CWS + Financial Aid + Fundraising) = Family Contribution

Financial Aid

Each year, Verbum Dei awards $7.5+ million in need-based financial aid. All families seeking financial aid must complete an application on FACTS and submit the required documentation. Financial aid will be granted only after a family has successfully completed the admissions application.

Financial Aid Application Instructions

To be considered for need-based financial aid at Verbum Dei, families must complete both of the following applications. Financial aid decisions are separate from admission decisions and are kept confidential. Income documentation, including tax returns, is required.

✅ Bring a completed CEF application and proof of income to your appointment.

2. FACTS Financial Aid Application

All families must complete the FACT online financial aid application:

Create user name and password if you don't already have one.

⚠️ You must submit the required proof of income or your application will be uncomplete.

If you cannot attend an in-person appointment, return your completed CEF application directly to Verbum Dei by the December 31 deadline.
